     Mineral Creek Diversion Dam is a site that is right next door to West Pit. Lakes are delightful; Little Box Lake is a lake that's near West Pit. This site is excellent, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do near West Pit. Amanda Gulch is a glorious location to spend some time at; not far from West Pit you'll find Simpson Lake which is a scenic lake. West Pit is a location that is reasonably waterless generally; the month of August is the wettest with most  
   of the rain while June is usually the driest month. Why not camp at Oak Flat Campground if you're here at West Pit.
This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Cairo Hill from West Pit is gorgeous; since you're here at West Pit it's a perfect idea to explore Lakel Flat. There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of West Pit called the Reevis Trail, and Knights Inn Globe is a great place to get some rest. Summertime at West Pit comes with high temperatures
 
               in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at West Pit plunge into the 40's.
Float down the rapids of Gila River in a kayak; if you came for an overnight stay Devils Canyon Campground is a good site to camp.
