Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Watson Lake. A picturesque lake like Lynx Lake near Watson Lake is a pleasant spot to explore, and there are plenty of people from Prescott here. Around Watson Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There is       a good hiking trail right next door to Watson Lake called the Groom Creek Loop Trail; Prescott Resort And Conference Center is a great place to get some rest. Lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Willow Creek Reservoir near Watson Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Granite Mountain Trail Number Two Hundred Sixty One which is a fine hiking trail. Watson Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Point Of Rocks Campground is a wonderful                  local campground, and while you're here you can play some golf at Antelope Hills Golf Course. All through the summer months at Watson Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Watson Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Granite Creek Dam near Watson Lake is pretty. Since you're here at Watson Lake why not pop by Granite Dells, and going for a hike on the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight is always a splendid adventure.
