Kaibab National Forest is both great and pretty, and it's close to Wall Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Old Kaibab Trail. Tiyo Point Trail is a striking wilderness hiking trail; it's 12.4 miles from beginning to end and has a variation in height of 678 feet. When you're backcountry trekking the demanding Tiyo Point Trail you should plan roughly one and a half days for the backcountry walk. A stunning great outdoors trail around here, 2.2
miles long, in possession of a difference in elevation of 244 feet is Transept Trail. Going for a walk is better than anything; the 10-mile-from-beginning-to-end Old Kaibab Trail is around here; it has a variation in altitude of 4,447 feet.
