During the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Walker       Lake; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Walker Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Foot Canyon Trail is always a delightful adventure, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Snowflake is a great choice. It is very arid here at Walker Lake usually; the month of July is the wettest with                  most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
