Innsuites Hotels Flagstaff - Grand Canyon is a splendid place to get some rest, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail. You get a nice sight of White Horse Hills from Walker Lake, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Arizona Snowbowl. Walker Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Coconino County Government       is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and not far from Walker Lake you'll find Bismarck Lake which is a picturesque lake. Walker Lake is mostly a reasonably dry place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Walker Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the                  highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Walker Lake. Arizona Snow Bowl Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and the Lava Flow Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Flagstaff West, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Flagstaff here. Little Spring is always fun to check out, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Kendrick Peak Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Walker Lake.
