W S Lake is a nice lake to visit. W S Lake is located in the San Francisco Mountains. One of the governing features of the surroundings of W S Lake is Bonanza Bill Point, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Little Blue Creek Forty-one Trail. W S Lake is a location that is relatively dry generally; August is the month that gets the most rain while May is generally the driest month.

| | W S Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pueblo Park Campground is a great local campground. There's just no way someone can get bored here at W S Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sunrise Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two; the Foote Creek Seventy-six Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at W S Lake get into the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the
40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for W S Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Francisco Mountains.
Cow Flat is a delightful place; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Sycamore Trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains. A short trip to Franz Spring is always worthwhile.
