Williams, the close by ski hill has 2 different ski lifts and receives 13 feet of good snow yearly on its 7 ski trails. The height difference is 600 feet at Williams. A picturesque hiking trail nearby is Bill Williams National Recreation Trail; it's 1.2 miles in length and has a difference between top
and bottom of 1,493 feet. When you're backcountry backpacking the picturesque Bill Williams National Recreation Trail you have to set aside in the region of two and a half hours for the hike.
