Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Prescott, and camping is available at Granite Basin Group - Prescott National Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at White Spar Campground is always a good experience, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Prescott for sure. Have a great hiking adventure along the Yankee Doodle Trail, and there are other       spots here than Upper Goldwater Lake, for example Hassayampa Lake. Yeah, come here to Upper Goldwater Lake for a tremendous time. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Prescott is a brilliant choice, and do take a hike on the Groom Creek Loop Trail. Not far from Upper Goldwater Lake, you'll come across Lower Goldwater Lake which is a lovely lake; do put some time aside to spend at Deer Lick Spring since you're here at Upper Goldwater Lake. Hiking along                  the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight is good fun, and if you wish for a little side trip, try Schoolhouse Gulch. Upper Goldwater Lake is pretty waterless generally; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Upper Goldwater Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Upper Goldwater Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
