Twin Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Twin Lakes called the Tanner Trail, and lakes are such serene places, why not visit Lockett Lake. Twin Lakes is pretty waterless typically; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while June is commonly the driest month. Grand Canyon National Park is a great local destination here at Twin

There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Grand Canyon Camper Village is a magnificent spot for that, and a great close by hotel is Canyon Plaza Resort. are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Twin Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Grandview Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Twin Lakes has to offer, you can camp
at Ten X Campground. On a splendid day at Twin Lakes you can take a hike along the Hance Trail, and a charming lake like Potholes is a wonderful location to take a look at.

Hermit Trail
 | 19 miles away (...) Hermit trail is in the Grand Canyon! And anyone who thinks it will be in the 70's in summer in the bottom of the Grand Canyon is in for a very unpleasant surprise! More like 120 degrees and you can die from that heat. Best hiking time is spring or fall for this trail. Summer is too dangerous, unless you are used to that broiler-oven desert heat. You need a permit to hike this trail, and since it is popular with backpackers, you will have to get it 4 months in advance, and it is not free. If you have never backpacked before they won't issue it to you, either. (...)... |
