It is very dried up here at Thomas Lake mostly; the month with most of the rain is August; May on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ice Cream Cone is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Thomas Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Thomas Lake                  highs are mostly in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Thomas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Blue River in a kayak, and nearby you find the Raspberry Trail Thirty-five which is a great hiking trail. Thomas Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Francisco Mountains. A fine location to camp here at Thomas Lake is Stray Horse Campground; the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by.
