If you are in Greenlee county it's always a good idea to stop by Thomas Lake. You definitely should fancy the San Francisco Mountains. Thomas Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Stray Horse Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Bear Spring. | | spot close by, and nearby you locate the Raspberry Trail Thirty-five which is a brilliant hiking trail. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Thomas Lake. Going for a hike on the Stray Horse Canyon Trail Twenty is always a perfect adventure, and Ice Cream Cone is a perfect spot to visit while in the vicinity.

nearby. Thomas Lake is located in the San Francisco Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River.

splendid place like The Box here at Thomas Lake is too brilliant to miss, and there's some flowing water nearby, Grant Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. Thomas Lake is frequently a reasonably arid location; the month
of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is May. For the duration of the summer at Thomas Lake highs are commonly in the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 40's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Thomas Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
There is a nice hiking trail near Thomas Lake called the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail; while you're here, you might as well stop at Barnes Canyon.
