Gambusi Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. There's so much to do here at The Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Tucson is a glorious site for that. Not much precipitation falls here at The Lake; the month with most of the rain is July while May is the month       with the least amount of precipitation. On a pleasant day at The Lake you can take a hike along the Tanque Verde Ridge Trail, and if you need a location to stay Voyager Resort Inn is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Bathtub Water near The Lake, it's a charming lake, and you can stay the night at Cactus Country RV Resort. Having a pleasant time at The Lake is simple. Don't miss out on a tour to Saguaro National Park since you're here                  at The Lake, and while you're here you can play some golf at Del LAGO Golf Club. Tanque Verde Ranch is a good spot to get some rest; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Sweetwater Baldy Saddle Trail 143. This lake is so wonderful. During the summer months here at The Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's.
