Near The Forebay you stumble on good places like Rocky Arroyo, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Show Low. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Forebay is unbeatable! If you need a location to stay KC Motel is a brilliant choice, and Petrified Forest National Park is a wonderful place close by. High temperatures at The Forebay through the months of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the
50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at The Forebay dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Camp Town is a tremendous local campground, and if the weather is pretty, you acquire a great vista of Cooley Knoll from The Forebay.
Why not pop by Daggs Dam since you're here; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by White Mountain Lake. The Forebay is mostly a reasonably dry

place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Why not camp at Voyager At Juniper Ridge while you're here at The Forebay.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Duck Lake is in the vicinity; since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Silver Creek Golf Club.

Pintail Lake
Pintail Lake is a refreshing and educational place to walk. I'm up here in the White mountains because I am from somewhere where it is to hot and muggy to go out of doors to exercise for months in the hot season. I am eager to go to see Jacques Marsh Wildlife Area. However, the directins to Jacques Marsh is not as easy to find. I remembered it being mentioned on a Pintail Lake website, so this is how I am trying to find out how to get there....
