At Tanque Aloma during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Tanque Aloma. There are some good whitewater spots on East Verde River. There's so much to do here at Tanque Aloma that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Creek RV Park is a glorious       place for that. Tanque Aloma gets very little rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Tanque Aloma you can take a hike along the Towel Creek Trail, and a lake close by is Salmon Lake. If time allows, Montezuma Castle National Monument is a national park worth visiting; hiking along the Towel Creek Trail Sixty Six - Sixty Seven Loop is great fun. Tanque                  Aloma is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rim Shadows RV Park is a great local campground, and a perfect nearby hotel is Hilton Sedona Resort And Spa. What a place this is for outdoors people. Tanque Aloma is not the only location nearby, Fivemile Lake is a nearby lake, and going for a hike along the Buckhorn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful.
