Swamp Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Stay the night at Indian Hollow Campground, and if you need a location to stay The Grand Hotel is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Canyon National Park is a glorious local destination here at Swamp Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Indian Hollow-Thunder Springs Trail Twenty-three.

| | time of year, and don't leave Swamp Lake without first going for a hike along the Tonto Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Grand Canyon, Az, and going for a hike on the Bass Trail is always a great adventure. High temperatures at Swamp Lake through the long summer days are in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Swamp Lake.

Don't leave Swamp Lake without first paying a visit to Lower Two Spring, and DeMotte Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Colorado River is a good whitewater spot near Swamp Lake; Emerald Point is something you shouldn't miss
since you're here. At Swamp Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June.
