Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. There's so much to do here at Sunrise Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sheep Cienega Campground is a nice site for that, and get dripping wet paddling on Black River - East Fork. | | is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and a spree to Kessay Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Sunrise Lake. If the weather is good here at Sunrise Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail, and why not a little side spree to Becker Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Sunrise Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Sunrise Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Mogollon Rim Mountains.
You get a wonderful vista of Big Cienega Mountain from Sunrise Lake, and Sunrise Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, A One Lake Campground is a nice local campground. You don’t have to go far from Sunrise Lake to spot
the water at Sunrise Dam. Lakes are wonderful; Sunnyside Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Sunrise Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Geneva Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity; Best Western Sunrise Inn is a great spot to get some rest.
