Don't leave Stock Pond without first paying a visit to Point Spring, and Pipe Spring National Monument is a very delightful location to have a look at. Stock Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sand Springs Overnight Campground is a good local campground; don't leave Stock Pond without first going for a hike along the Shunesburg Mail Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to South       Moccasin Wash from Stock Pond is easy, and Rodeway Inn Kanab is a nice location to get some rest. Camping at Blue Sage Motel and RV is always a brilliant experience, and after a long day outdoors Clarion Hotel Victorian Charm Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. It is very waterless here at Stock Pond frequently; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is June. Summer at Stock Pond comes with high                  temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter highs are generally in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Stock Pond temperatures dip to the 20's.
