This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to pop by near Stehr Lake is Boulder Canyon, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Cold Water Trail. Be careful coming to Stehr Lake, you might
not ever want to return home again. There are other locations here than Stehr Lake, for example Tanque Aloma, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Quail Spring. At Stehr Lake you don’t see much rainfall; during August
this area sees the most rain, and May is when it's the driest.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Stehr Lake. Days Inn Camp Verde is a magnificent place to get some rest. Have a good hiking adventure
along the Towel Creek Trail Sixty Six - Sixty Seven Loop, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Verde River.
