What would winter be without some skiing at Arizona Snowbowl, and Americas Best Value Inn-Flagstaff is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Slate Lakes is not far at all from Flagstaff. Lakes? Sure, Prong Lake is around here. Slate Lakes gets very little rainfall; throughout       August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Slate Lakes. Hiking along the Kendrick Peak Trail is splendid fun. During the summertime here at Slate Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 80's; the night is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's.
