This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Round the Mountain Trail; Chiricahua National Monument is a very wonderful place to go to. Lots of folks from Safford come to Rogers Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Safford is a good location to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the Ash Creek Trail Three Hundred Seven; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to make out       at Rogers Reservoir Dam in close proximity to Rogers Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rogers Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Soldier Creek Campground; while you're here you can play some golf at MT Graham Golf Course. Any time is a good time at Rogers Reservoir if you love the outdoors. A great site close to Rogers Reservoir is Mud Hollow, and you can stay the night at Red Lamp Mobile Home Park. This lake is so wonderful.                  Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rogers Reservoir; Shingle Mill Mesa Thirty Five Trail is a good local trail; SpringHill Suites Thatcher is a magnificent site to get some rest. Rogers Reservoir is a location that is pretty waterless mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain while June is ordinarily the driest month. At Rogers Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's.
