Arizona has many beautiful lakes and Rock Lake Pothole is one of them. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Rock Lake Pothole is Little Colorado River; there are plenty of folks from Flagstaff here. Camping at Grand Canyon Camper Village is always a fine experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Tanner Trail.

| | a hike on the Grandview Trail. Rock Lake Pothole gets very little rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is June. Just can't get enough of Rock Lake Pothole. After a long day outdoors Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; going to Grand Canyon National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.

temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Rock Lake Pothole during the wintertime frequently drop into the 10's.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rock Lake Pothole; Hance Trail is a good local trail, and Rock Lake Pothole is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Ten X Campground is a delightful local campground.
