This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Road Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Zion Canyon Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Petrified Forest Trail. Summertime at Road Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while       overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Road Pond fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Flattop Reservoir in the vicinity of Road Pond is a glorious site to stop at, and if you have time, Zion National Park is a national park worth going to. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Road Pond has to offer, you can camp                  at Zion River Resort, and the Honeymoon Pack Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Driftwood Lodge is a fine place to get some rest, and lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Snake Pond.
