All year is a pleasant time in the Mogollon Rim Mountains if you adore the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Pumpkin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildhorse Lake Campground is a nice place for that; if you need a site to stay Best Western Sawmill Inn is a nice choice. But wait, there's more to do next to Pumpkin Lake. Americas Best Value Inn       Globe/Miami is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Not much rain falls here at Pumpkin Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. Don't leave Pumpkin Lake without first going for a hike along the Foot Canyon Trail, and if you get bored of Pumpkin Lake you could also take a look at close by Wagon Wheel Lake. High temperatures at Pumpkin Lake throughout the warm months are in the 90's. Through                  the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; overnight lows at Pumpkin Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 20's. Pumpkin Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
