Prong Lake is always a pleasure to visit. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Prong Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Prong Lake. Around Prong Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Prong Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lost Spring. Lakes? Sure, Dry Lake is in close proximity. The peak of Red Mountain can be observed from Prong Lake. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Prong Lake. enough to spend more than a day at, Coconino County Government is a delightful local campground. The Kendrick Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; Slate Lakes is a great lake close by.
