If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express PAYSON is a brilliant choice; camping is available at Kehl Campground. Through the summer highs here at Potato Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight       here at Potato Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dry Lake is close to Potato Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Payson Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and you're most likely into lakes, Baker Lake is one of those close by. You definitely have to like Potato Lake. Poverty Flat is a pleasant spot to check out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit East Verde River. Potato Lake is                  frequently a reasonably dry place; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; June is the month with the least moisture. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. The Highline Trail offers hiking at its best, and you might also want to pay a visit to Cienega Draw since you're here at Potato Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hells Gate Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Clint Wells Campground is a good location to camp.
