The panoramas at Montezuma Castle National Monument will blow your mind, and while you're here at Pocket Lake it's a magnificent idea to take a look at Lake Pocket. Around Pocket Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while June is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. At Pocket Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Pocket Lake. so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Pocket Lake is unbeatable! JD Dam Wash flows through this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Verde River.
Going for a hike on the Taylor Cabin Trail is always a tremendous
adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay White Horse Lake Campground is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you wish for a little side visit, try Lee Canyon, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes?
Sure, JD Dam Lake is just a very short distance away. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort is a splendid location to spend a night or two; needless to say, this is a fine neighborhood for folks who like lakes,
White Horse Lake is a lake around here.
Dogtown Campground is a nice campground nearby, and get wet paddling on Oak Creek.
