The beauty of Pocket Lake is reason enough to stop by. This place, Pocket Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. There are perfect locations to explore along the Taylor Cabin Trail, and a tremendous close by hotel is Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Verde River; a pleasant trip to Lake Pocket is a good way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Near Pocket Lake you find the Sycamore Basin Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and if you came to camp Dogtown Campground is a splendid site to do that.
A day on the slopes of Williams is just what you need, and going for a hike on the Casner Mountain Trail Eight is always a perfect adventure. At Pocket Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | |

Summertime highs at Pocket Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pocket Lake are in the 20's.
It's
a fine idea to stop at JD Dam Wash, it's in the neighborhood of Pocket Lake. There's so much to do here at Pocket Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Horse Lake Campground is a tremendous spot for that. This lake is
so wonderful. Oak Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. While staying at Pocket Lake you could always discover Lee Canyon; Sedona Pines Resort is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
