    In Arizona there are many beautiful lakes, Pinto Spring Trough is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Superior Rv Park is a delightful local campground; Lower H N Trough is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. A short journey to Bear Spring Number One is always worthwhile, and from Pinto Spring Trough you acquire a great panorama of Iron Mountain. At Pinto Spring Trough through the months of summer highs are in the 100's. For the duration of the  
   moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 50's; nighttime lows during the winter for Pinto Spring Trough tend to be in the 20's.

Log Trough Canyon is a great location to look at; going for a hike on the Reevis Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the J F Ranch Trail. Lots of people from Payson come to Pinto Spring Trough; a lake close by is Whitlow Ranch Flood Control Basin.
