Tonto National Monument is a very wonderful place to pop by. Dry warm beds await you at Gold Canyon Golf Resort, and don't leave Pinto Spring Trough without first going for a hike along the Red Tanks Trail. Log Trough Canyon is
a great location to look at; going for a hike on the Reevis Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the J F Ranch Trail. Lots of people from Payson come to Pinto Spring Trough; a lake close by is Whitlow Ranch Flood Control Basin.
