    If you are in Pinal county it's always a good idea to stop by Pinto Spring Trough. Tonto National Monument is a great national park, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Reevis Trail. After a long day outdoors Kings Ranch Gold Canyon's Rnch. is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and the J F Ranch Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. For the period of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 100's at Pinto Spring Trough while night lows  
   are typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Pinto Spring Trough temperatures plunge to the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Pinto Spring Trough is a brilliant site to camp, Apache Lake Campground is a brilliant site, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Red Tanks Trail. Roosevelt Lake Golf Club is a perfect place to get some rest. You'll
 
               need more than a day to look at everything Pinto Spring Trough has to offer, you can camp at Burnt Corral Campground.
If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. There are plenty of folks from Payson here at Pinto Spring Trough; Iron Mountain is painless to spot from Pinto Spring Trough. Put some time aside to spend at Bear Spring Number One while you're here at Pinto Spring Trough, and if you're here, you might as well go to Log Trough Canyon. Pinto Spring Trough is generally a quite waterless place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
