You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Arizona Snowbowl, and you can stay the night at Ashurst Lake Campground. The summit of Anderson Mesa can be made out from Pickett Lake, and Pickett Lake is not the only place nearby, Post Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Pickett Lake called the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Als Lake since you're here; it's not far

| | at all. If time allows, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is a national park worth a visit. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Pickett Lake. Going for a hike on the Lava Flow Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Flagstaff. summer days here at Pickett Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Pickett Lake overnight low temperatures
all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Fairfield Flagstaff Resort is a pleasant location to get some rest; Pickett Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Pine Grove Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby.
