Custom Search     Picacho Reservoir     Visited on 6/29/08 and found nothing but a dry lake bed. I was expecting at least some water given the good snow cover up north this year. I guess the CAP water has replaced the need for this reservoir. Says Tom Gollem This great lake has 50 acres of surface area. This lake is a great place for boating. The waters of this lake include some great catfish, crappie, bass, carp, largemouth bass, sunfish and tilapia. Not enough hours in a     day to enjoy this place. Picacho Peak State Park is a wonderful location; a wonderful nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Eloy Casa Grande.
