I was expecting at least some water given the good snow cover up north this year. I guess the CAP water has replaced the need for this reservoir. Picacho Reservoir really is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. This lake is so wonderful. Brady Wash is a picturesque stream that is worth visiting, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Eloy is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Picacho Reservoir usually tend to be in the 100's; the night is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 70's. During the winter the highs are       mostly in the 60's; through the dark hours in the winter at Picacho Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FLORENCE, and if you haven’t been to Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here. Not far from Picacho Reservoir you obtain some splendid water scenery at Picacho Reservoir Dam, and Ho Ho Kam Mobile Village is a wonderful local campground.                  A round of golf at nearby Tierra Grande Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and why not camp at Sunscape Resort while you're here at Picacho Reservoir.
