Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's while Pepper Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Take a hike on the West Holcomb Trail, and Pepper Lake is in the vicinity of Pryce Canyon which is certainly worth taking a look at. A brilliant close by hotel is Best       Western Sawmill Inn, and camping is available at Blue Lake Campground. Pepper Lake is pretty dry usually; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while June is frequently the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Foot Canyon Trail, and Americas Best                  Value Inn Globe/Miami is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Wildhorse Lake Campground is a nice place to camp; a lake close by is Pumpkin Lake. Just can't get enough of Pepper Lake.
