Pecks Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Packard Trail Nmber Sixty Six offers hiking at its best, and Shea Spring is always fun to check out. If you would like a little side tour, try Deception Gulch, and if you came to camp Turquoise Triangle RV and Park is a perfect place to do that. Visit Bitter Creek if you're here at Pecks Lake, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Cottonwood is a great site to spend a night or two.

| | Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pecks Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Pecks Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gaddes Canyon Trail, and do explore Mingus Lake, it's a charming lake. There's whitewater on Verde River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Tavasel Marsh is a swamp close to Pecks Lake. | |

Pecks Lake is right by the Woodchute Trail, and while you're here, you could also go to picturesque Pocket Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Verde River. There's so much to do here

close proximity to Pecks Lake that are great to go to. At Pecks Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture.
