The beauty of Pecks Lake is reason enough to stop by. Pecks Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Pecks Lake. There's so much to do here at Pecks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Turquoise Triangle RV and Park is a great site for that, and there are

| | plenty of folks from Prescott here at Pecks Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Quality Inn Cottonwood, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pecks Lake; Gaddes Canyon Trail is a great local trail.

paying a visit to Shea Spring; a pleasant place to check out is Deception Gulch.
Take a look at close by Tavasel Marsh; there's whitewater on Verde River for all you adrenaline people. A trip to Montezuma Castle National Monument
is recommended, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Cottonwood is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Pecks Lake, and the overnight is rather chillier
of course, usually in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Pecks Lake.
Don't forget to take a great little spree to Bitter Creek, and there's splendid
hiking along the Packard Trail Nmber Sixty Six. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Woodchute Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pecks Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camelot RV Center.
