Wickenburg Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; if the weather is lovely, you get a tremendous view of Mockingbird Hill from Palm Lake. At Palm Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Palm Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The       cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Palm Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 20's. If the weather is great here at Palm Lake, you can go for a hike along the Seal Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mockingbird Wash is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and a glorious site to camp here at Palm Lake is Aztec Mobile Home and RV Park.
