P Bar Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Mogollon Rim Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Black River - East Fork; Moonshine Park is a wonderful place. Not much rainfall falls here at P Bar Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is May.
Camping at Hannagan Campground is always a perfect experience,

| | and if you need a location to stay Tal Wi Wi Lodge is a magnificent choice. All year is a magnificent time in the Mogollon Rim Mountains if you like the outdoors. Camping is available at Stray Horse Campground, and do take a hike on the Raspberry Trail Thirty-five. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Thomas Creek Weir has tremendous water scenery and it's close to P Bar Lake.

Seventy, and dry warm beds await you at Alpine Cabins. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at P Bar Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows
all through the wintertime for P Bar Lake tend to be in the 10's. What a place this is for outdoors people. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Blue River.
