There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Nutrioso Reservoir. Nutrioso Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Alpine Divide Campground       is a glorious local campground, and Gobbler Peak is painless to spot from Nutrioso Reservoir. Jarvis Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunrise Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail; obviously Auger Creek flows through this neighborhood. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Nutrioso Reservoir is right by the Foote                  Creek Seventy-six Trail, and there's always Nutrioso Dam to stop at in close proximity to Nutrioso Reservoir. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Do stop by Rioso Reservoir near Nutrioso Reservoir, it's a delightful lake; a wonderful location to camp here at Nutrioso Reservoir is Nelson Reservoir Campground. Through the summertime at Nutrioso Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Nutrioso Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.
