The beauty of Lake Number One attracts many people from all around. Through the long summer days highs here at Lake Number One reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Lake Number One during the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. June is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Little America Flagstaff is a splendid choice; Thomas Spring is always fun to check out. If you came to camp Lake Mary Country Store and Park is a fine site
to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail. Lake Number One is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pinewood RV Park is a good local campground; do take a hike on the Wilson Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Arizona Snowbowl.
