This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling near Norton Reservoir is Black River - East Fork. Just can't get enough of Norton Reservoir. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Norton Reservoir called the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail; camping at Rolfe C Hoyer Campground is always a brilliant experience.       Throughout the summertime at Norton Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Norton Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A short visit to 117 C Spring is always worthwhile, and there are other locations here than Norton Reservoir, for example Geneva Reservoir.
