  Murrays Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, FR 212 Dispersed is a good spot to camp nearby. Going to Kaibab National Forest right next door to Murrays Lake is a wonderful thing to do. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Murrays Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jacob Lake Group. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Pipe Spring National Monument is a national park worth checking out.
Murrays Lake is pretty dry mostly.
