The beauty of Lake Montezuma attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Lake Montezuma is Beaver Creek Golf Club; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Cliff Castle. Beaver Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; Russell Spring is a nice local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lake Montezuma highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Lake Montezuma. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Lake Montezuma is peerless! There's fine hiking along the Walker Basin Trail; if you need a spot to stay Camp Verde Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice. | |

There are plenty of people from Prescott here at Lake Montezuma; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deadwood Trail.
Russell Wash is a pretty stream that is worth checking out; the Buckhorn Trail offers hiking at its best.
At Lake Montezuma you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Wet Beaver Creek, and why not camp at Yavapai-apache RV Park while you're here at Lake Montezuma.
