A visit to Lake Montezuma is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Russell Spring is an inspiring site to explore while here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deadwood Trail. | | here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Beaver Creek; the Buckhorn Trail offers hiking at its best. If you need a spot to stay Lodge at Cliff Castle is a good choice, and if you haven’t been to Montezuma Castle National Monument, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. here for a while, Yavapai-apache RV Park is a wonderful location for that. If you came to camp Beaver Creek Campground is a great site to do that, and Beaver Creek Golf Club is a delightful golf course close by. Through the summertime
months here at Lake Montezuma, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Lake Montezuma through the winter ordinarily
fall into the 30's. So much exciting stuff to do here at Lake Montezuma, too brilliant to be true. Montezuma Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Montezuma; Walker Basin Trail is a magnificent local trail.
