What a nice lake Mingus Lake is. Pine Shadows Golf Course is a golf course near Mingus Lake, and you can run the rapids of Verde River. This lake is so wonderful. Mingus Lake is a spot with many visitors from Prescott. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mingus Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mingus Mountain Campground; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Cottonwood is a nice place to spend a night or two.

The Gaddes Canyon Trail is a good hiking trail near Mingus Lake, and you can distinguish Mingus Mountain from Mingus Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do next to Mingus Lake. Six is always a tremendous adventure. Mingus Lake is pretty arid generally; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. At Mingus Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's
with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mingus Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
