The beauty of Mingus Lake attracts many people from all around. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Cottonwood is a great choice, and do take a hike on the Woodchute Trail. Mingus Lake is a perfect place to camp, Powell Springs Campground is a perfect place, and you can run the rapids of Verde River. This lake is so wonderful. At Mingus Lake you can make out Mingus Mountain.

Pine Shadows Golf Course. For the period of the summertime highs here at Mingus Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Mingus Lake during the wintertime commonly drop into the 30's.
