Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the San Francisco Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a good choice, and going for a hike along the Sycamore Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Bobcat Flat is a wonderful site to stretch your legs a bit; there's some flowing water nearby, Campbell Blue       Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Milligan Lake is a splendid place to camp, Upper Blue Campground is a splendid place, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Milligan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blue Crossing Campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Foote Creek Seventy-six                  Trail. The San Francisco Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to Milligan Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Box Canyon is a tremendous location to explore, and Milligan Peak is lovely and can be seen from here. Milligan Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain; May is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Milligan Lake all through the months of summer are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Milligan Lake. So much exciting stuff in the San Francisco Mountains, just impressive.
