The beauty of Milligan Lake is reason enough to stop by. Summertime highs at Milligan Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Milligan Lake. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the San Francisco Mountains. While you're here at Milligan Lake it's a fine idea to explore

| | Bobcat Flat, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Blue River, and camping is available at Upper Blue Campground.

leave Milligan Lake without first paying a visit to Twin Tubs Spring. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do near Milligan Lake. Take a side visit to Campbell Blue Creek; Best Western Sunrise Inn is a great spot to get some
rest. Milligan Lake is typically a rather arid site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is May.
Milligan Peak is beautiful and can be observed from Milligan Lake, and why not take a
refreshing hike along the Foote Creek Seventy-six Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful San Francisco Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Crossing Campground is a tremendous place to camp; do take a hike on the Sycamore Trail.
