Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Milligan Lake fall into the 10's. A perfect spot like Bobcat Flat here at Milligan Lake is too good to miss. Lakes? Sure, Prime Lake is in the neighborhood. Milligan Lake gets very little precipitation; throughout August this area       sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is May. This location, the San Francisco Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you need a place to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a great choice, and hiking along the Sycamore Trail is perfect fun. A spree to Twin Tubs Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Milligan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Blue Campground. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Box Canyon is in close proximity to Milligan Lake and is a splendid site. There's so much to do here at Milligan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Crossing Campground is a pleasant location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Foote Creek Seventy-six Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Campbell Blue Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful San Francisco Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the San Francisco Mountains. Going for a hike along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; not far from Milligan Lake you'll hit upon Tenney Pond which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful.
