All our national parks are splendid spots to visit, and Petrified Forest National Park is no exception; dry warm beds await you at KC Motel. Throughout the months of summer at Mexican Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down       through the winter temperatures at Mexican Lake sink into the 10's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Daggs Reservoir is in the vicinity of Mexican Lake, and Rocky Arroyo is also a tremendous place to look at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Mexican Lake. Mexican Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Fools Hollow Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby; if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course                  is Silver Creek Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at White Mountain Lake while you're here at Mexican Lake; it's close by, and Voyager At Juniper Ridge is a great campground nearby.
