If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mexican Hay Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a delightful choice, and paddling on Black River - East Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Sunrise Park is perfect; if you came for an overnight stay Greer Lakes Campground is a pleasant spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Mexican Hay Lake is not the only spot close by,

| | Stock Dam Number Two is a close by lake, and Elderberry Spring Campground is a splendid local campground. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Mogollon Rim Mountains has it all. Good hiking is available along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail; everyone loves Canvasback Sink. Hay Lake; Escudilla National Recreation Trail is a magnificent local trail. Around Mexican Hay Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and May meanwhile is the driest month.
