There's so much to do here at McKibbins Pond that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a delightful location for that, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Sunrise Park. McKibbins Pond is one of the lakes here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Not much precipitation falls here at McKibbins Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and May is the       month with the least moisture. The view of picturesque Wildcat Point near McKibbins Pond is perfect; get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Black River - East Fork. All through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at McKibbins Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to McKibbins Pond. And that's not all you can do here                  at McKibbins Pond. There are good places to explore along the Chitty Canyon Trail Thirty Four; fine hiking is available along the KP Trail Seventy. This lake is so wonderful. Perry Spring is a pretty site to go to while you're at McKibbins Pond; naturally Conklin Creek flows through this vicinity. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. You truly should fancy the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
