Maxwell Lake is a lake worth visiting. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites FOUNTAIN HILLS is a great site to get some rest, and Arizona Dam Butte can be seen from Maxwell Lake. Going for a hike on the Second Water Trail is always a fine adventure; Maxwell Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Apache wells RV Resort is a wonderful local campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Maxwell Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while June

This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful places to discover along the Black Mesa Trail. Throughout the summer months highs here at Maxwell Lake get into the 100's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Maxwell Lake are in the 30's. Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle View Recreational Vehicle Resort At Fort is a great site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Boulder Trail.
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Maxwell
Lake; get wet paddling on Verde River. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Fountain Hills is a brilliant choice, and let's not forget Verde River which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
Paddling on Salt River is so much fun; if you're dropping by from Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, you won't be the only one.
