     Black Barts RV Park is a good local campground. Lakes are pleasant; Elaine Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Maureen Lake. At Maureen Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Maureen Lake. On a delightful day at Maureen Lake you can take a hike along the Lava Flow Trail; Bottomless Pit  
   is a striking site any time of year.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Maureen Lake, you can go for a hike along the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail, and not far from Maureen Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Continental Number Two Dam. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Residence Inn Flagstaff is a brilliant choice, and Flagstaff Koa Kampground is a pleasant campground nearby. That right there is a heap already,
 
               but it carries on; Maureen Lake has it all. Near Maureen Lake you hit upon a golf course called Continental Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Flagstaff Resort is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
There is a good hiking trail right next door to Maureen Lake called the A B Young Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Humphrey Lake. Hit the slopes at Arizona Snowbowl close by, and you'll meet a lot of people from Flagstaff here. Maureen Lake gets very little rain; most of the rain falls throughout August, and June is when it's the driest.
