Summertime highs at Lynx Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lynx Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Why not check out Lynx Lake Dam while you're here, and Lynx Campground is a splendid campground nearby. The wonderful folks of Prescott like to       hang out nearby; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Prescott, Az. Good hiking is available along the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight. But wait, there's more to do next to Lynx Lake. The summit of Bigelow Peak can be made out from Lynx Lake, and close by you hit upon Benjamin Gulch which is a perfect place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Hoot Owl Spring if you're here at Lynx Lake, and Lynx Lake is a perfect                  site to visit for more than one day, Hilltop Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby. There are splendid spots to look at along the Groom Creek Loop Trail. Lakes are perfect; Upper Goldwater Lake is a lake that's near Lynx Lake. Lynx Lake is generally a reasonably dry place; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June. You're probably addicted to lakes, Mesa Reservoir is one of those close by, and Residence Inn by Marriott Prescott is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
