     A great nearby hotel is Little America Flagstaff, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the A B Young Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lava Flow Trail is always a great adventure, naturally you could also stop at Lake Number One if you're here; it's not far at all. If you came to camp Lake Mary Country Store and Park is a splendid place to  
   do that; close by you come across good locations like Howard Draw.
Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do near Lower Lake Mary. A tour to Montezuma Castle National Monument is worthwhile; Lower Lake Mary is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Black Barts RV Park is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Fairfield Flagstaff Resort is a delightful choice, and Continental Country Club is a magnificent
 
               golf course close by. Gotta ski! Arizona Snowbowl is a glorious place to do that; the scenery at Lower Lake Mary Dam is charming.
Lower Lake Mary is generally a relatively dried up place; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Lower Lake Mary highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lower Lake Mary. Lower Lake Mary is not the only site close by, Marshall Lake is a close by lake, and since you're here at Lower Lake Mary it's a delightful idea to take a look at Lake Mary Meadows.
Lion Spring is a perfect local attraction; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail.
