At Lower Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June. Camping at Turf Soaring School is always a great experience, and there are good sites to look at along the Lane Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale here; going for a hike on the Tiptop Trail       is always a great adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Lower Lake. A nice close by hotel is Cibola Vista Resort and Spa, and if you've had enough of Lower Lake, Lake Pleasant is nearby. Morgan City Wash is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at, and Camp Dyer Diversion Dam is not far at all from Lower Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Plazas, Limiteds, And Inns is a fine spot to spend a night or two; there                  is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Willow Spring Trail. Lower Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pleasant Harbor RV Resort is a wonderful local campground, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Bonita is just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Lower Lake all through the long summer days are in the 100's. Summer night lows descend down to the 70's.
