Lost Lake

 
  Just can't get enough of Lost Lake. Lost Lake is right by the Winter Cabin Trail, and Boynton Pass Rd is a tremendous local campground. There's a wonderful 3-mile-from-start-to-finish backcountry hiking trail in possession of a wonderful 689-foot elevation variation in the neighborhood; this lovely backcountry hiking trail is the Dorsey Spring Trail. There's no more delightful way to use two and a half hours than to backcountry walk the lovely Dorsey Spring Trail.
    The 10.6-mile-in-length Winter Cabin Trail has an elevation variation of 2,664 feet; it is a stunning backcountry trail. In the order of one and a half days of tough backcountry backpacking on the Winter Cabin Trail is time well used.
