Don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Horton Creek Trail, and not far from Lost Lake you'll discover Myrtle Lake which is a scenic lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Lost Lake, so little time. Upper Buck Spring is always fun to check out, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Payson Inn is a magnificent choice. For the period of the summer       highs here at Lost Lake get into the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lost Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lost Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is commonly the driest month. So much cool stuff to do here in the Mogollon                  Rim Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Lakes? Sure, Lake Number Four is close at hand, and at Lost Lake you can make out Mogollon Mesa. Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are great spots to look at along the Myrtle Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Payson. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a great adventure, and camping is available at Knoll Lake Campground.
