Chevelon Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and there are other spots here than Little Rock Lake, for example Little Nelson Lake. Little Rock Lake is mostly a pretty dried up location;       the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and June is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mogollon Rim Mountains. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sawmill Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the West Holcomb Trail. Near Little Rock Lake you locate Daze Canyon which is a wonderful location to stop by, and dry warm beds await                  you at LA POSADA HOTEL. During the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Little Rock Lake while night lows are generally in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Little Rock Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Little Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chevelon Lake Campground is a glorious place for that, and not far from Little Rock Lake you'll locate King Phillip Guzzler which is a lovely lake. While you're here at Little Rock Lake you can take a hike along the Foot Canyon Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chevelon Canyon Campground.
